Peut-être que nous ne le pouvons pas non plus aujourd'hui mais grâce à cette vidéo autofictionnelle, nous nous en rapprochons. Und: wir wollen die Chance nutzen, eine queere Liebe zu erzählen und ihr Raum zu geben. Etwas, was uns früher vielleicht (auch in unseren anderen Beziehungen) nicht möglich war. Vielleicht können wir es auch heute noch nicht. Außerdem führt es einem vor Augen, welche Bemühungen man in der Regel unternimmt, um das Sterben zu verstecken. Doch hier geschieht es ganz öffentlich. Gemeinschaft von Körpern EN/ Community procedures change our bodily experiences “A Community of Bodies” is an unconventional entity that defies rigid definition. This hybrid project encompasses residency, performance (both intimate and public), sculpture born from interwined personal and collaborative creation, and video blurring the lines between art and document. A shared practice of empathy, that builds a tangible, visual conversation around contested ideas.&nbsp; This exploration is fueled by the inherent risk of encountering the “other”. This encounter, a mystery in itself, transforms us, revealing facets of ourselves previously unseen. That is why we embraced a rhizomatic approach, seeking to foster openness and encourage greater diversity. Our creative process asked us to delve into the becoming-viral of the imagination, which is essence desire. Could we transcend our egos and explore artistic expression beyond “I”? We embraced collaboration while retaining our individuality, holding on to a vision while letting go of control. Procedures and materials, including the body itself, became our focus. This exploration revealved a profound truth: within the embrace of the collective, the self is not diminished, but rather forged anew. For the exhibition we went looking for a material that can grow organically and fill the exhibition space. A material that functions as a support and as a projection surface: physically present, but open to change. A material that can connect. Something that is more mycelium than linear structure.A Community of Bodies is a project by artists from Buenos Aires and Munich. Together we aim to make bodies and community tangible from non-normative perspectives. We work with (our) bodies, interact with objects and other bodies, enter into relationships and form communities. Materials, norms and languages resist in specific ways, shape the bodies and allow themselves to be shaped by them.Felt is tough and solft. It derives its resistance from criss-crossing overlays, not from a straight line. Many people are needed to make a large piece of felt. The processes are easy to learn. Physically demanding, they also allow freedom. By enganging with the material, we develop a shared aesthetic language that mediates between our different ways of working. A community of bodies is formed as we work.&nbsp; FR/ Une pratique de la communauté modifie notre expérience corporelle “A Community of Bodies” est une communauté temporaire d’artistes de Buenos Aires et Munich. Ensemble, nous travaillons pendant trois semaines à une exposition qui vise à faire vivre le corps et la communauté sous des perspectives non normatives. Nous travaillons avec des/nos corps, interagissons avec des objets et d'autres corps, entrons en relation et formons des communautés. Les matériaux, les normes et les langues résistent de manière spécifique, façonnent les corps ou se laissent façonner par eux.Pendant le temps passé ensemble, une pratique collective se met en place, nous permettant d'avoir une conversation visuelle sur différentes approches artistiques. Au cours de la résidence, l'imbrication des créations individuelles et collectives donne naissance à une installation qui occupe tout l'espace. Une vidéo intégrée montre le processus de création de l'installation dans des gros plans haptiques.A Community of Bodies se nourrit de la rencontre avec « l'autre » et de notre ouverture à nous laisser transformer par cette rencontre afin de découvrir de nouvelles facettes de nous-mêmes. Pouvons-nous dépasser nos egos et explorer l'expression artistique au-delà du « moi » ? Pouvons-nous travailler ensemble tout en préservant notre individualité ? Nous nous accrochons à une vision et lâchons le contrôle. Les procédures et les matériaux, y compris le corps lui-même, deviennent notre point de mire. Dans le travail collectif, le soi n'est pas amoindri, mais se réinvente.Nous cherchons un matériau qui puisse croître de manière organique et remplir l'espace d'exposition. Un matériau qui fonctionne comme support et comme surface de projection : physiquement présent, mais ouvert aux changements. Un matériau qui peut relier. Quelque chose qui tient plus du mycélium que de la structure linéaire. Le feutre est tenace et souple. Il doit sa résistance à des superpositions croisées, et non à un alignement linéaire. La fabrication d'une grande pièce de feutre nécessite de nombreuses personnes. Les processus sont faciles à apprendre. Physiquement exigeants, ils ouvrent en même temps des espaces aménageables. En nous confrontant au matériau, nous développons un langage esthétique commun qui fait le lien entre nos différentes méthodes de travail. En travaillant, une communauté de corps se forme. DE/ Eine Praxis der Gemeinschaft verändert unsere körperliche Erfahrung “A Community of Bodies” ist eine temporäre Gemeinschaft von Künstler*innen aus Benos Aires und München. Zusammen arbeiten wir für drei Wochen an einer Ausstellung, die Körper und Gemeinschaft aus nicht-normativen Perspektiven erlebbar machen möchte. Wir arbeiten mit (unseren) Körpern, interagieren mit Objekten und anderen Körpern, gehen Beziehungen ein und bilden Gemeinschaften. Materialien, Normen und Sprachen leisten in spezifischer Weise Widerstand, formen die Körper oder lassen sich von ihnen formen. Während der gemeinsamen Zeit entsteht eine kollektive Praxis, die uns ein visuelles Gespräch über unterschiedliche künstlerische Herangehensweisen ermöglicht. Im Laufe der Residency entsteht aus der Verflechtung von individuellem und gemeinschaftlichem Schaffen eine raumgreifende Installation. Ein integriertes Video zeigt den Entstehungsprozess der Installation in haptischen Close-Ups. A Community of Bodies lebt von der Begegnung mit dem “Anderen” und unserer Offenheit, sich von dieser Begegnung verändern lassen, um neue Facetten unserer selbst zu entdecken. Können wir unsere Egos überwinden und den künstlerischen Ausdruck jenseits des “Ich” erforschen? Können wir gleichzeitig zusammenarbeiten und unsere Individualit¨t wahren? Wir halten an einer Vision fest und lassen die Kontrolle los. Verfahren und Materialien, einschliesslich des Körpers selbst, werden unser Fokus. In der kollektiven Arbeit wird das Selbst nicht geschmälert, sondern findet sich neu.&nbsp; Wir suchen nach einem Material, das organisch wachsen und den Ausstellungsraum füllen kann. Ein Material, das als Träger und als Projektionsfläche funktioniert: körperlich präsent, aber offen für Veränderungen. Ein Material, das verbinden kann. Etwas, das eher Myzel als lineare Struktur ist.&nbsp; Filz ist zäh und weich. Seine Widerständigkeit erhält er aus kreuz und quer laufenden überlagerungen, nicht aus der geradelinigen Reihung. Um ein grosses Filzstück herzustellen, werden viele Personen benötigt. Die Abläufe sind einfach zu lernen. Körperlich fordernd öffnen sie gleichzeitug gestaltbare Räume. In Auseinandersetzung mit dem Material entwickeln wir eine geteilte ästhetische Sprache, die zwischen unseren unterschiedlichen Arbeitsweisen vermittelt. Repetition and action are at the core of his practice, with the body as its central site: a deliberate departure from his architectural training, where the body is often abstracted. For Delannoy, the personal is political is not a theory but a working method: what happens to his body, what he remembers or forgets, always carries the imprint of the system he inhabits. He films himself, felts childhood memories, embroiders intimate images from dating apps. His attention turns to what society prefers to forget: queers, the different, the vulnerable. By working with techniques historically dismissed as poor or 'feminine', such as felting, embroidery and crochet, he tells stories that should not be forgotten. He stitches receipts, casts crochet in aluminium, and sews spoon pockets onto dresses. Nothing is lost. Für Delannoy ist „das Persönliche ist politisch“ keine Theorie, sondern eine Arbeitsmethode: Was mit seinem Körper geschieht, woran er sich erinnert oder was er vergisst, trägt stets den Abdruck des Systems, in dem er lebt. Er filmt sich selbst, filzt Kindheitserinnerungen, stickt intime Bilder aus Dating-Apps. Seine Aufmerksamkeit richtet sich auf das, was die Gesellschaft lieber vergessen möchte: Queers, die Andersartigen, die Verletzlichen. Indem er mit Techniken arbeitet, die historisch als minderwertig oder „weiblich“ abgetan wurden, wie Filzen, Sticken und Häkeln, erzählt er Geschichten, die nicht vergessen werden sollten. Er näht Quittungen zusammen, gießt Häkelarbeiten in Aluminium und näht Löffeltaschen an Kleider. Nichts geht verloren. Für ihn ist das Erzählen von Geschichten ein Akt des Widerstands. Pierre-Yves (*1995, Châlons-sur-Marne, FR)&nbsp;is based in Germany. He studied architecture, fine arts, and performance at TUM in Germany, ENSAPC in France, KASK in Belgium, and as an intern at CENTEX in Chile.
